May pretty horses
Come to you
As you sleep
This collection explores sleepwalking as a liminal state and its potential to offer intersubjective insight into individual dreams. It translates three dream motifs into wearable forms, transforming private, internal experiences into visible dream bodies that move through everyday reality. Dreams are not illustrated, but embodied through manipulated fabrics, distorted proportions and an ongoing exploration of the sleeping body. The garments aim to evoke the sensation of dreaming rather than its narrative. Childlike visions, unstable silhouettes and the intimacy of the bed are transferred into wearable objects. The experience unfolds not only for the wearer, but also for those who encounter the sleepwalker in motion, briefly catching a glimpse of another person’s hidden inner world.
